NOTE; you will note that I did not include the se tag on this toon, I can’t even remember if I submitted it for publication, as it is of course to controversial. This week, I spoke with a Real Estate Appraiser I have known for years. He tells me he has been very busy with foreclosures. After a glance around(we were in 7-11) over his shoulder, he confided in me that 6 out of 10 were hispanic, that hispanic agents had qualified two families for one home, and when work stopped they simply left the keys on the counter and headed south. I already suspected that to be the case, but know it first hand now. Several subcontractors I know who have operated for years are now finding themselves bidding work against contractors who truck in south of the border types by the truckloads, lowering labor costs below any reasonable pay grade for trades, and most of the time lowering job quality as well. Meanwhile, here comes amnesty. IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY, OR WHAT?
